A comfortable and very characterfully distressed Renaissance style brown leather armchair with decorative brass stud detailing. Dark stained solid oak legs united by plain stretchers.

Enhanced with two superb plump soumak flat weave cushions made from an antique mafrash, or bedding bag, woven by the nomadic Shahsavan Tribe of  Northwestern Iran.

Attractively battered, worn and slightly torn, but after minimal careful and sympathetic intervention by us to stabilise the chair, and the addition of vibrant loose upholstery, this is a solid, useful and unique statement piece.
