A charming and compact octagonal side table. Profusely inlaid with mother of pearl (nacre), bone and silver wire of characteristic Syrian design.

Some losses to inlay on the top but overall in lovely aged condition with a warm patina.

Furniture of similar richly inlaid “Saracenic” design, retailed by Liberty & Co is featured on page 27 of their Yuletide Gifts catalogue of 1897.
