Mrs Marjorie Ferry, After Tamara de Lempicka

SOLD
Wonderfully evocative of the Art Deco era, this stunning oil on board is inspired by Tamara de Lempicka’s 1932 portrait of Mrs Marjorie Ferry, a cabaret singer born in London who lived in Paris between the wars. Twice married, her second husband commissioned the portrait. The original was auctioned in New York in 1995, the same year this version was painted for a German private collector.
Presented in a complementing hand finished frame.
