A very distinctive 1930s limed quarter sawn oak pedestal desk by Heal’s of London.

Beautifully put together with an understated Art Deco/ Modernist style and great patina, featuring the original well-used embossed sage green leather writing surface and Heal’s ivorine trade button badge inset to the top right hand drawer. Fully panelled back, enabling it to be used freestanding and not limited to placement against a wall.
