A French oak two tiered occasional table in the Arts and Crafts manner.

Above a scalloped frieze, a rectangular top with moulded edge detail, deeply carved with an exceptional foliate border.

Raised on serpentine legs united by an undertray supported by shaped brackets.

A faint watermark to the undertray does not detract from what is a beautiful, unusual and useful piece.

Circa early 1900s.
