A magnificent Arts and Crafts style satin walnut dressing chest. Tilting mirror, flanked by a pair of semi-elliptical bas-relief mouldings in foliate Art Nouveau style, above half round shelf on central paired curved brackets. Chest below with three draws. Original handles with traces of copper plating. Raised on shaped legs extending from the body of the piece.

A nice degree of foxing to the original bevelled mirror and minor water marks to the top impart a lovely patina.

The quality of the design and execution suggests this piece is possibly by Harris Lebus of Tottenham, London.
