Widely revered for glittering works such as The Kiss, Austrian artist Gustav Klimt produced a number of evocative landscape paintings at his summer retreat in Litzlberg on Lake Attersee between 1901 and 1904. Symbolising rebirth, new beginnings and growth, birch trees perfectly reflect the values of the Viennese Secession Movement, of which Klimt was a prominent member.
This vibrant print on canvas is beautifully presented in a complementing patinated gilt frame.
