George Henry Walton (1867 – 1933) Unusual wooden framed xylophone shaped oak stand with squashed heart details to each side, and with six graduated brass bars with circular resonators the latter stamped “Plant & Perry Patent No 5320 Made in England” to one end and “Sole licensee WF Needham” on the other.  leather laces supported on oak frame. originally designed for the snooker room hall in The Leys, Elstree, designed by Walton for J.B.B. Wellington. 1900. Retailed by both Liberty and Goodyers. Needs beaters

Formed of six resonators of descending size with brass keys atop, inscribed with respective notes
