A charming Arts and Crafts freestanding open bookcase with integral cupboard storage in quarter sawn English oak.

Three fixed shelves with cupboard above. Fret cut detail to the shaped back. Fielded panels to the twin doors with dot and dash mouldings and carved roundels, perhaps owing something to the Cotswold School designs of Ernest Gimson, Sidney and Ernest Barnsley and Peter Waals.

A useful, quality piece in lovely honey coloured oak with minimal marks and wear.
