SOLD

An Arts and Crafts hall stand in beautifully patinated quarter sawn oak. One Northamptonshire family owned from new.

Tall back panel with stylised hearts and spades cutouts to the inverted pediment, over an original bevelled mirror showing an attractive level of foxing, and a useful small shelf supported on corbels below. Features a really beautiful central repoussé beaten copper panel in a stylised flower buds and hearts design, above a good sized hinged central glove box.

Retains its original copper plated coat hooks and tin drip trays. We have carefully waxed the whole piece to enhance its aged finish and its modest depth makes it a practical option for a narrow Victorian or Edwardian hallway.

Circa 1900.
