Helen Gee

I’m a global selling artist specialising in wildlife and landscapes on gold leaf. My work has travelled as far as Virginia, Valencia, Saudi Arabia and across Europe. I have exhibited for wildlife conservation and National Geographic.

My artwork is applied to hardwood board, primed then a rich base colour added; a layer of gold or silver leaf applied, distressed, then painted with beautiful wildlife or landscapes in acrylics and sized to protect in a satin or gloss finish.

Living in a crooked Tudor house on the banks of the River Severn in a Site of Special Scientific Interest and protected birds area, I have so much inspiration on my doorstep. However, I am also interested in exotic, endangered species and sea life. In fact, my “Traditional Cotswold Octopuses” at Artysan in Stow-on-the-Wold are finding new homes all over the world!
