I love to create vibrant, impressionist studies of the English countryside that now sell worldwide. In my cottage studio situated off the beaten track, amongst rolling farmland and winding wooded paths, each season provides me with an endless variety of textures and hues to be captured.

If a running theme could be suggested for my work, then “Be in touch with nature” would summarise it very well. With names including: “The Quiet Place”, “Into the Woods”, “The Warm Scent of Summer” and “Joy”, I strive for each painting to speak of the release found in abandoning our senses to the timeless, intoxicating beauty of the hidden places in our natural world.
