Brian Busselle

I was born and raised in Kent and studied Art at Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone Colleges, obtaining a degree in graphic design. I went on to spend 30 years in advertising in London and won a few prestigious national and international awards. However, I always found time to paint and regularly exhibited in London and the Home Counties. After leaving the advertising business, I went to live in France for five years where I painted and exhibited in group shows and galleries in Le Mans.

Back in England, like many artists before me I was drawn to Cornwall, where I lived and worked on Bodmin Moor for many years, creating a graphic stylised interpretation of the varied landscape in several media. I call this work “Abscape”(abstract landscapes).

Returning recently to my roots in Kent, the landscape is still my muse and is always present in my work.
